| DockStar is an add-on for Mail.app that adds up to 5 new-mail indicators to the dock icon. This lets Mail users keep track of email as it arrives in various accounts and local mailboxes.
In addition, DockStar brings customizable shapes and colors to the Mail dock icon. Seamless integration allows users to control every aspect of the dock icon directly from Mail’s settings panel. Normally $8.00 the MacZOT! special is only $5.95 save 26% |

I’ve asked Ken from eCamm network to mention how he came up with this great idea! He said he’ll comment on it later.

Hi there MacZOT readers.
When I moved my email from Eudora to Mail.app, my very first complaint was this: If you automatically sort your incoming mail into separate boxes as it arrives, then the correct unread count no longer shows up in the Dock icon. I toyed around with ways to fix it… but nothing materialized into a product.
Years later, over my morning coffee, it suddenly occurred to me that DockStar would be an awesome product name…. but what should DockStar be? And, well, you know the rest.
Seriously!

Ventiface – The daily ZOT can always be found at http://www.maczot.com – from now on, I’ll make the image clickable and work in some other links as well.

I actually just bought DockStar a couple of days ago. I could have saved $2.05 here. 8-)
Actually, I had to buy when I did because my trial expired. I can vouch that this is a great little utility.
Also, nice idea for this site. I love the idea of the 1 app per day with a discount.
