Zazen – Focus on your workRetail price: $12.00 |
| Zazen is a cool and unique way to use or manage your applications.
“Zazen” is Japanese for Zen Meditation, and with Zazen, your mind will be put into a state of productive relaxation. At least, that’s what we’re going for. With Zazen, you will see a list of running Applications in your Menu Bar. From this menu, you are able to switch between your Applications, Quit your Applications, Force Quit your Applications, or use an Application in Concentration Mode.
What is Concentration Mode, you ask? Concentration Mode is the ultimate way to focus on any application. |

Interesting app. However, I’m already a happy user of Cunning Fox. It does pretty much the same with the advantage that I don’t need to close/quit apps but can put them “on hold†to channel all CPU to a certain task (I.e. Photoshop). The “Zen Moment†is kinda childish… if you don’t want other apps in the way then just blend them out when switching. Just my two cents… which I’ll save for tomorrow.

“Concentration Mode” doesn’t work with dual monitors. Otherwise the app doesn’t offer anything apart from a reorganisation of functions that are already available. In my opinion this is extremely well executed but pointless.

Someone who interested in the function of Zazen may use this instead: Doodim, freeware, and still works well under 10.4.7 (http://www.lachoseinteractive.net/en/products/doodim/)

I can’t quite work this app out. Anyone else similarly confused?
