Have you ever wished you could control iTunes without leaving
your current app? SizzlingKeys lets you do just that – and more -
in an intuitive and unobtrusive way.
Control iTunes.
Whether it’s to pause the player, adjust the volume,
skip a track or rate a song, you can do all that and
more with simple customizable keystrokes.
That’s not all. You can even search your iTunes Library
or Playlists with a simple keystroke, all without switching to
iTunes!

style="margin-bottom:0px;margin-top:10px;padding-left:10px;clear:both"/>
See what’s playing.
Why bring up iTunes just to see what’s playing?
SizzlingKeys features a floating window that shows you
the current track info.
Place it anywhere you wish on the screen by simply
dragging it.
Easy setup.
Having all the features you can imagine is useless
if the app is difficult and confusing to use. That’s why
we make ease-of-use our top priority. Customizing
SizzlingKeys cannot be easier.
Extras. SizzlingKeys even throws in a couple
of hot keys for controlling system services like
Sleep and Fast User Switching. While these functions have nothing
to do with iTunes, they come in extremely handy for many users.
Still not convinced?
SizzlingKeys is rated 5 stars on VersionTracker and here’s
what some users are saying.
“This is the best addition to iTunes that I’ve seen yet.”
“This is the best Itunes controler I have found.”
“By far the easiest and most intuitive app I’ve used.”
“This is the kind of app that makes using a computer easier
and more fun … Kudos to the author!”

I bought a license for this around a year ago, and I’ve been using it for longer than that. I love this application and I probably use it more than anything else on my computer. Worth well over the $4.95 they charge.
IMO the best iTunes controller you can find. The rest may have more features, but this one is the slickest.

Sizzling Keys Pro is GREAT! My favorite feature is the ability to skip ahead or back by a definable number of seconds with a key stroke.
For $1 this is a MUST HAVE!!
I already bought it at the full price months ago. :(

I’ve been using this app (non-Pro version) since I found it. Its great! For $1, I’d say anyone who uses iTunes on a Mac needs to get this.

What is the benefit of this against QS?
I guess I’ll have to try it to find out.

Awesome App! Exactly what I have been looking for.

I think I’ll stick with QuickSilver.

I’m sure this one is a nice app… but I’ve already registered Synergy and Menuet. Both are fine too and offer slightly more features. For a buck SizzlingKeys is a bargain though. Just my two cents… into the savings pot for tomorrow.

Hey this is a great little program!

Absolutely fantastic program. For a buck, you simply cannot beat it. For the normal price (4.95), it’s STILL unbeatable.
The free version is completely functional, the Pro adds some more capabilities and helps support the programmers.
One question though… how do I register it now?

I have also purchased Synergy and have a menuet registration from a mystery zot.. but for $1 it’s a no-brainer. If nothing else, just to support small mac developers and the macZot model. I figure I’ll just maybe not buy a soda or something today and instead have that money go to macZot. Hear that macZOT? Price an app at $1 and I don’t even think about it.
That said.. Neither Synergy nor Menuet come close to matching SizzlingKey’s search function. That is just plain sweet.

This is a great app but i personally prefer a program called TuneX. It was a much better interface and hides when it’s not in use.

I’d really like TuneX, but it crashes on startup :(
Unfortunately the developer doesn’t respond to mails.
Is there any application which can display the lyrics? That’d be great.

Has anyone else gotten their registration key for SKP yet? It’s normally in my inbox pretty early the next day after a ZOT.
I’ll second (or third…) how cool SizzlingKeys is. I’ve been using another program that puts controls in my menu bar, but I like this much better! Definitely a no-thought impulse buy at $1, and worth more than that…
