If MySpace was like this from the start, I probably wouldn’t have deleted my account. Aesthetics are important!

  2. Sam Says:

It’s impressive how well it grabs data and has all these features with MySpace but I’m on Facebook more and that isn’t supported yet. I could pay and wait till the update when it is apparently going to be supported but even then, I don’t have a huge list of friends to need a management tool like this.

I guess if you are using MySpace for marketing and have a ton of friends which you’d like to easily send messages to and keep them up to speed, this app is really good at that.

  3. Mickeh Says:

I am not sure there is any way I could use this, I mean… MySpace?

  4. Christian Skorik Says:

Hmm… I’m thinking that a good old fasioned web browser is still the best choice for facebook. This is a neat idea, but like Sam said, I don’t have 10,000 friends… so I don’t really need a program like iPhoto/iTunes to help me sort out the mere 300 that I do have. Thanks anyway.

  5. Josh Says:

This app is a lifesaver! I can now add friends to my band’s profile in just one click. It’ll add friends of friends, and so on! Excellent app.

I just need my bleeding registration code to arrive already.

  6. Christian Skorik Says:

An addition: I’ve said it before, and I’ll probably say it again. I think MacZot! would do very well for itself if it offered us VisualHub.

  7. John Says:

I’ve been trying to use this program for a while now. It crashes all the time. Clearly its got some major internal bugs. Too bad because if it worked the way its supposed to, it would be a great program. It also becomes almost completely unresponsive when it’s doing things, very unmaclike. And when maxed out, its only using 1 of my CPUs, leaving the other 3 idle.

  8. Groxx Says:

    VisualHub? *checks*
If it could convert from WMV3, I’d buy it. But it can’t, and I wouldn’t (though it IS nicely organized).

As to this app, I escaped MySpace a few years ago, and I’m keeping it that way. But this is a great idea… and gives me ideas >: )

  9. erichd Says:

I actually like this idea …. for me, though, if it allowed me to publish to my blog from within this app — DEFINITELY!

Oh, and a WYSIWYG html page editor….eventually?

Though I do wonder why I still publish to my blog on MySpace…..

  10. Burp Says:

MySpace? Seriously… I wouldn’t tough anything to do with myspace with a 10 foot pole.

  11. Phil Says:

despise myspace but this seems an okay solution to keep in touch with those friend that won’t leave it for better pastures (like their own blog or wordpress.com)…but it seems iffy if the developer can keep it working and the short time i used the demo it didn’t seem like i could do much other than view friends i already had. plus i realize it was a feature limited demo but i couldn’t seem to do much…didn’t seem worth the price at all.

still it is nice to see ZOT is offering apps out of the norm. keep it up!

  12. Darkstream Says:

Well, glad to see I wasn’t being censored. I had written up a negative review of this product but it was lost in the ether apparently.

In short, Spyder is not ready for primetime. Crashes frequently. Doesn’t interface with MySpace deeply and completely enough to make it indispensable. I am still awaiting the killer MySpace app that will make managing large groups of friends for band pages easy.
