Additional… only seems to be created if you try and connect to a server and you are out of demo-time. The thought would occur that it’s related to the trial expiry system; however, deletion of it does nothing. Don’t get me wrong, I really like this app and have already purchased it through MacZot, but colon-based file names are horrible… especially invisible ones.

Creates a very hard to delete invisible file in your preferences folder called “:4002711:” – yes, that’s right, with colons in the file name. If the author is reading this, please fix this bug ASAP! It is impossible to delete via the Terminal. You must delete it using the Finder with invisible files showing. File names with colons are a dangerous thing indeed!

“Yummy FTP is licensed on a per-user basis, which means that it is licensed to the registered user, not the machine it is installed on. This allows the registered user to install the software on as many machines as he/she owns, but only the registered user may use the software.”

I’m using Yummy too and am pleased with it’s features. What’s the license agreement (it’s not clear) on multiple machines per single user? I’ll get another copy at this price if it’s one/machine but would like clarification.

A lot of the features you guys have mentioned are in Transmit.

Anyhow, Yummy has always intrigued me and I think I’ll give it a spin.

Buy it, buy another copy, buy one for a friend! I love this program, works perfectly. Has a feature where I can set up a connection to a server/folder, and then I can place that alias icon on my dock and when I’m working on something I can just drop new files onto that icon and away they go!

The developer is highly responsive to the forum. Is always taking suggestions and adding them to the next build. A bunch of new features are being added right now.

Buy this program. I did, and love it!! (And it is dang cheap right now, too!!)
