What’s the most unique, useful feature of your product?
Lineform is positioned as an easy to use vector illustration app. While the tools, especially the bezier curve tools, are easier to approach that ones in other illustration apps, they’re powerful enough for pros to feel right at home with.
It’s small in application size and runs very light. It also supports CoreImage filters for easy creation of custom Apple tools, and PDF import & editing.
Why did you create this app? or What need were you trying to satisfy?
It’s an affordable vector drawing application, and there needed to be an easy to use, very powerful alternative to others on the market.
What is most interesting to you about developing SW for the Mac platform?
Because the Mac OS is generally, well, awesome, we can spend more time creating software and less time troubleshooting problems.
What features should a prospective buyer look into during a trial of
your product?
Test out the pen tool, the filters, and the PDF parsing. They rock. Experiment.
What features would you like to add to your product that at this
time seem improbable/impossible?
Smell and Touch capabilities! :]
What are the answers to some common questions people have about
your app before they buy?
Can Lineform do this, that, and the other? Yes, yes, yes!
