myDocuments is a clear program, crafted with love to detail, Even with Spotlight and the like it is easy to loose overview of all the documents you need for a project or a client – out of sight out of mind. With myDocuments it is very easy to group your documents by client or project, to tag them and add comments. myDocuments can by used in menu bar mode – always with you, never in your way. It displays a quick look of every document. Used documents can be automatically added to preselected groups. You can turn every group into a zip-archiv including a ReadMe file with additional information and a listing of all files included in the archiv (this is comparable to bundles in InDesign). In addition you can transfer any document directly to a FTP server. myDocuments is a portable application, which can be used from a thumb drive.
System Requirements: Mac OSX 10.5 or later. |

This is one of those really useful apps which does nothing you can’t do in the Finder or with a combination of other apps and utilities, but does it much more elegantly and quickly. A real timesaver and aid to getting organized, and so well priced that it makes good sense to have it in the toolbox. Good to support the dev too. He specializes in this kind of thoughtful, unpretentious, lean app. His site is always worth keeping an eye on. Recommended.

Abject apologies for double (now triple) post. Though I’d stopped the upload before adding a phrase… Do remove one, guys.

This is one of those programs that I had no idea existed or that I needed it but boy do I need it. Since coming to the Mac I have been trying to find new ways of overcoming old problems and its perfect for what I need and want to do.
Good work and thanks
Kevin
