|Graphic Inspector is a powerful quality control solution for images and vector graphics which provides extensive info on entire folders of files and helps locate potential problems according to specific workflow requirements.
Graphic Inspector provides a professional quality control solution for users of any trade, whether it’s print, prepress, web design, electronic publishing or digital photography. With its powerful Checkup Presets, the program lets users create custom preflight settings tailored to their workflow requirements, and quickly locate files with unwanted attributes. For example, Graphic Inspector can warn users about all files whose color mode is RGB, format – JPEG, resolution is below 200 dpi, ICC profile doesn’t contain “USWebCoated”, etc.
“We really do love Graphic Inspector as an indispensable and quick utility for checking our clients files prior to ripping,” says Joel A. Glastetter of Benchemark Printing in Schenectady, New York. “It saves us a lot of time… Graphic Inspector is really a lot better for us than some bloated preflight program that just makes a confusing mess out of preflighting a job. It’s lightweight, quick and easy!”
Graphic Inspector is the only program to check for such a wide range of attributes, which include image resolution, spot colors, fonts in vector graphics, EPS and TIFF compression, ICC profile and image metadata. In addition, users can save preflight results as text files, specify favorite folders, scan the entire subfolder tree and reveal files in the Finder.
