DescriptionMost of us like hand-made drawings, colorful oil paintings and accurate pencils strokes in sketches. But lots of people, unfortunately, can’t draw well enough to make something beautiful with their hands… This little app solves that problem! It can easily turn any digital photo into a pencil sketch, watercolor or oil drawing. It’s light, simple, cross-platform, feature rich and it’s free to try! And more than that: the license is valid for both Mac and Windows platforms (doesn’t apply to AppStore licenses)!

This app seamed fun, so I downloaded the demo from the website.
There is a preview window that is supposed to show you the expected result of the current pencil settings. However the final result on the full picture after processing is never as cool as the preview was. Comments on MAS seem to confirm this strange behavior.

Same problem as iztoubade: I get the picture looking the way I want in preview window, hit “process,” and get something different!? Cute little app, lots of fun, but way too trial and error without WYSIWYG. (If I go ahead and buy it anyway and then Neatberry fixes the preview problem, will I have to pay for an upgrade?)

This was my first Neatberry app and it’s great for whipping-up a quick effect, but as others have stated the preview versus the actual output differs. This can be both a good and a bad aspect depending on which image you like better. Still, I recommend this app.
